Oura Sananikone Lecture Response

During Lunch I attended a lecture by the artist Oura Sananikone.

I found his art style and process very interesting and different to how I usually approach my art. Oura Sananikone, at least when it comes to graffiti, is very spontaneous and draws from imagination, and I would really want to gain that confidence when it comes to more permanent mediums.

Something else that I find surprising is Sananikone creating both 2d and 3d art, in the form of toys and miniatures. his style transfers really well between the 3d and 2d mediums, with similar blocking out of color and sharp contrast. I also paint miniatures and would love to try his style out as a change of pace.

Something else that is surprising is his consistency, having multiple comic books. I would love to know more about the process to create comic books and how to enter that line of work.
