Project 5 Process Post

I spent the first studio day planning my composition and what details to work on a long with which artists to study

By the End of the 3rd studio day I got my primary sketch done and was ready to move onto shading. Overall I feel like I have gotten a better grasp at contouring and replicating compositions.

By the end of the 4th studio day I finished up some preliminary shading along with using water soluble graphite to shade the trees. This was definitely a learning experience and provided some areas I could grow in skill wise.

By the end of the studio days I was not done and had to take the piece home to finish it up. Overall I wish I could have managed my time better, but a major thing I learned was trying to focus on developing the drawing overall rather than focusing on finishing sections of it to be more efficient and make it feel more connected.
