Home Project Process Post

For my home project I wanted to test out graphite and based my drawing off of a sketch in my my sketchbook.

For the first day, I worked on defining all the forms and getting a basic composition down.

On my second studio day, I worked on further defining and finishing the fish monster and adding in shadows and basic details.

On my 3rd and 4th work days I finished up the fish monster and added worked on further defining the forms.

For my last couple studio days I worked on adding any final details and shading the figures.

Overall, I think I got a good grasp of the process, but I wish I spent more time on the figures, and I still need work on defining values and contrast through value along with depth.
